Students at »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ's Debden Park High School win UK Polar Network's Antarctica Flag Competition.

Congratulations were in order at »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ's Debden Park High School recently, as four year 7 students won the UK Polar Network's Antarctica Flag Competition. 

Students Dante Barnard-Ellis, Iris Bennett-Wright, Anaya Karamat and Scarlet Parrish-Heighton created flag designs which were then carried over 10,000 miles to Rothera, Antarctica with Nick Withey, a Traverse Vehicles Engineer with British Antarctic Survey.

Phoebe Hallford, Teacher of Geography at Debden Park High School said "What a proud and inspirational moment for our students to see their designs travel all the way to Antarctica! Its been fascinating to learn about the expedition.
